After earning my BA at the University of Alberta with a Major in Music and  Minor in Creative Writing, I moved to Vancouver, BC, to attend film school. I graduated from the Vancouver Film School's "Writing For Film and Television" program. During my time in school, I wrote the MC script for an Awards Night, co-wrote a short musical film that was nominated for Best Picture in a film festival, and collaborated with another faculty to help shape a short film (as well as my own work, here). After graduation, I interned for a local talent/literary agency. During my time at the company, I also wrote a short commercial on top of providing coverage for submitted scripts.

From there, I collaborated on a script for another short film, "Hungry Hearts", and continued to provide script coverage on an independent contract basis. I've worked with a local game company for both blog content writing and collaboration on RPG-style games. I've also provided story content for several other concepts. Recently, I placed 2nd in the 2015 Scriptwriter Mentor Experience Contest with my short screenplay, Wild Abandon. I have also placed as a semifinalist for ScreenCraft's Short Film Fund, quarterfinalist in ScreenCraft's Short Script Competition, and a Finalist in the 2018 ScreenCraft's Pilot Launch competition.

I love story, no matter the format - stage, film, novel - and have provided feedback and edits for several eBooks. I'd love to help you take your tale to the next stage.
